Getting the Mojo Back

So many of us have lost our "mojo" at work.

What is work mojo?

It's the spark you wake up with about an idea you've had over the weekend. It's the anticipation of working with someone you really gel with. It's the belly laughs you have with your friends over lunch. It's the "aha!!" moment you have when you finally find a solution to a problem that's been dogging you for hours or even days. It's finishing a day and feeling good about what you've touched.

You may not even notice your mojo is gone.

What you do notice is feeling like the skies are just a little more grey. the alarm is just a little more saddening...the zoom call is just a little less comforting even when speaking to a friend.

You're not alone.

The social interaction of being together at work was fuel, whether or not we knew it, or even liked it. Now, we're running on fuel that is so basic it keeps us moving, but just barely.

You can get that mojo back, but it will take some effort. It will take time and it will feel strange, as most change does. But being open to it is the first step.
Do you want your mojo back?

Next week I'll add some steps you can take to get back to yourself.
This week: start digging through the cobwebs in your mind and try to remember what joy at work felt like.
Who were you with? What were you working on? What was the win?

See you next week,

Jen
